Heidi Montag’s Puffy Face Grabs Headlines Once More

She’s only 25 but she looks much older than her years. Heidi Montag celebrated her birthday in Las Vegas, but it wasn’t her age that got people talking again, but rather how bad she looks for her years.

The reality star, who underwent a complete, 10-procedure surgical makeover in 2009 in a bid to look like a human version of the Barbie doll (her words, not ours), now claims to live in poverty with her husband, Spencer Pratt.

She’s repeatedly stressed how much she regrets having the surgeries, which included lips, breast and cheek implants, liposuction and even back scooping – and several voices online claim she’s right to be sorry.

At the party, Heidi appeared very bloated and puffy in the face, partly because of the many surgeries she had at such a young age, and partly because of some weight gain.

The Daily Mail, for one, suggests that Montag may be drowning her sorrows in alcohol, which would explain why she appears fuller in the trunk and not the limbs as well.

“Her tiny arms look incongruous against her bigger trunk, and suggest bloating as much as weight gain,” the British tab writes.

“It’s a typical side-effect of over indulging with alcohol, and considering the way Heidi seemed to be putting away champagne – at least stuffed with healthy strawberries – not something she will escape soon,” the Mail adds.

Other voices online agree, adding that there’s also a chance Heidi simply gained some weight because she’s no longer constantly in the public eye.

This, combined with the extensive and very intrusive surgeries she’s had, makes her face look extremely puffy and, to a certain extent, bloated.

As noted above, the two, formerly genuine paparazzi magnets, are now living in a rented house and claim to be absolutely broke.

This would explain why they charged $20 to $40 for tickets to their birthday party, the Mail notes.
