Heidi Montag Wants More Surgery, Is Devastated by Hate Mail

In November last year, Heidi Montag of MTV’s “The Hills” fame, a fixture in the tabloid media together with husband Spencer Pratt, slipped off the radar altogether. She emerged a few days ago, with a new body and face, after undergoing a series of cosmetic interventions meant to “upgrade” her looks. Yet, things are far from how she expected them to be, Life&Style magazine says.

According to the tabloid, not only is Montag receiving so much hate mail she almost dreads showing her face in public, but she’s also not completely satisfied with the outcome of her $50,000 makeover. There is a problem to that, though, as no surgeon will work on her now, not after she’s been criticized in the media for undergoing such a drastic makeover with the help of plastic surgery when she’s only 23 years old, the same publication further says.

“Fast-forward to Jan. 22. Heidi and hubby Spencer Pratt sat holed up in their Pacific Palisades, Calif., home, in shock over the hate mail the 23-yearold had been getting about her extreme makeover. ‘Spencer ordered about seven bunches of flowers to cheer up Heidi because she’d received a letter or an e-mail saying that her plastic surgery was against God’s will,’ a neighbor of the couple tells Life&Style. ‘Heidi’s apparently very spiritual, so this kind of criticism really stings’,” the publication writes. With all this, Montag wants even more surgery, the cover of the mag says.

“While strangers’ opinions shouldn’t matter, even friends think Heidi’s decision to undergo 10 procedures in a single day went overboard – to a dangerous degree. ‘She looks like Cat Lady,’ a pal of Heidi’s tells Life & Style. ‘It’s all a little too much.’ Spencer was also horrified by Heidi’s appearance, according to his friend. ‘He loved how Heidi looked before this surgery,’ a friend of Spencer’s tells Life&Style. ‘Because she’s still swollen and the surgery hasn’t settled yet, he’s a bit shocked’,” Life&Style further writes.

It’s no secret now that Spencer really does not approve of what Heidi has done to her face and body, as he admitted himself in a recent interview. However, he also said at the time that since he did not “own” his wife, he had no saying in the matter and would learn to live with the decisions she made as regards her looks.
