There was once a time when not a day went by without some reports about Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, they of “The Hills” fame who turned a career as a reality star into an art of making money. On this note, the two have just passed on an offer to be on a new show.

After getting married twice to make sure the cameras recorded every detail of the ceremony, faking marital issues, a separation, a divorce and eventually reconciliation, one would expect the duo to jump at the opportunity of doing another show.

However, TMZ reports, Heidi and Spencer are not game for Relationship Rehab, even though it could bring them some exposure and the money they must be needing so badly, since they're bankrupt.

The two have been offered a spot on the show but they turned it down for the obvious reason: they're a solid couple and don't need couples counseling to be on the show.

“TMZ has learned, Relationship Rehab producers approached Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt to work out their issues on the show... and the couple flat-out rejected their offer,” the e-zine notes.

“Speidi's reasoning – they're actually on great terms and don't have any issues to work out,” TMZ says.

However, they did consider the option but that was before they knew what the show was all about and before they were told how much money they'd make off it.

“Sources close to Speidi tell us, the couple was initially intrigued – thinking the show was actually about working out together... as in yoga, or something like it. They had no idea it was for couples with real issues,” TMZ further reports.

Another controversial couple to pass on the occasion of being on the upcoming show is that made of “teen bride” Courtney Stodden (17) and Doug Hutchison (51).

They too used as argument the fact that there's nothing wrong with their relationship to justify their presence on the show, as we also reported at the time.

Linda Hogan, Hulk Hogan's ex-wife, and her boytoy are on board for the first season.
