Heidi Montag Is Naked... Already?

I was actually wondering how long it would take for one (or all) of the protagonists of the MTV pseudo-reality show "The Hills" to get naked on the cover of some glossy magazine. I mean, yes, even if you pretend you've got nothing to hide from the cameras and your life is an open book, even if you pretend not to care about the extra attention you get as a "reality star"... even if you pretend to have a not-so-glamorous, ordinary life, you still have to earn a living. And if you're a 'star", why not do it the old-fashioned way, by trying to break into the world of real A-listers that act in real movies and earn real money. So, everybody, here is Heidi Montag on the cover of Maxim magazine. Lauren Conrad must really be green with envy right about now!

It's funny how some things that are already among the world's worst-kept secrets (like the fact that "The Hills" is not exactly the reality show it pretends to be), will end up being discussed as if so far no one ever suspected anything about how "real" or not everything we see on TV really is. "The Hills is a show that’s 22 minutes long about seven people’s lives. It’s edited for drama, and there are editors and story lines. If someone walks in front of the camera, we have to redo the shot" Heidi "reveals" to maxim. "So it’s not exactly how things always are. It’s not like The Truman Show. They’re not with us all the time, although I wish they were, because it would be a way crazier show. Let’s see how Lauren would look then!" this reality diva adds. And yes, we all know about her feud with her former best friend Lauren Conrad, but really, enough already! We all know these two ladies supposedly hate each other – so we might as well enjoy something we haven't seen before – like the fact that Heidi is almost naked. Now that part is hot!

Of course, when at a loss, it always helps to diss a little more dirt on your nemesis, just to fill some extra space on the page and pretend you have something really interesting to share with the world. "She [Lauren] has changed. Some people go more Hollywood than others" Heidi says. "We’re from different backgrounds. She grew up in that spoiled Laguna world, and I grew up with humble beginnings. She’s very controlling. She was crazy about how much time I spent with Spencer, and I had to see her every day. I’ve heard from other people that she’s a big diva now". Yes, nothing says "I love my job" like playing the "humble origins" card and making herself look all saint-like and full of unsuspected virtues. Looking forward to see Lauren's reaction to this. Who wants to bet someone will lose an eye?
