14 DAY TRIAL // After MTV’s “The Hills” star Heidi Montag emerged after a break from the spotlight of almost two months with a brand new face and body, the entire world was shocked by the extent to which she went to “upgrade” her looks. However, as reports would have it, no one was more surprised than her own mother who hadn’t the slightest idea of what daughter was doing. The two have finally met, People magazine writes.
About a week ago, Heidi herself confirmed for the media that her mother, Darlene Egelhoff, had no idea she had so much work done, as rumors started to circulate that Darlene was, in fact, fuming when she heard what her 23-year-old daughter had done. Recently, Heidi boarded a plane heading home, where she would finally let her mother see her new face, breasts and backside – with cameras in tow, of course.
“After keeping her family in the dark about getting 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day, Heidi Montag is finally heading home to Crested Butte, Colo., to confront her mom and reveal what she calls, ‘the new me.’ And camera crews for MTV’s The Hills are recording it all. Montag – still in bandages she has to wear for portions of the day while her recovery continues – boarded a private jet bound for Colorado early Wednesday with her sister Holly,” People writes.
Precise details of what happened when she arrived home and finally met her mother face to surgically altered face are not yet known. However, some reports in the media suggest a reconciliation has already taken place, especially since Heidi has already thought of the perfect Mother’s Day gift for Darlene: plastic surgery. Apparently, the reality star says, her mother has finally understood that she must do whatever it takes to make her happy. Moreover, Darlene even asked Heidi for her surgeon’s phone number so she too can fix some things she’s not happy about.
“She says, ‘Whatever makes you happy.’ And ‘Great,’ and, ‘I could definitely see your [breasts] looking incredible bigger,’ and you know, my mom’s very... supportive about whatever makes you happy in life. Actually, she was excited for me and she’s asking me... for her surgery next. So for Mother’s Day, I have to ask Dr. Frank Ryan if he’ll do the mommy makeover,” Heidi says.
