14 DAY TRIAL // Heidi Montag says she decided to go under the knife for massive cosmetic surgery because she had serious issues with her body image and believed the only way she could become her idea of “perfection” was with the help of a surgeon. Skeptics say she also did it thinking of the kind of media attention she’d get if she went through with it. If that last part is true, the reality star is about to extend her 15 minutes of fame, Life & Style magazine reports.
Though she’s legally barred in the US from getting bigger implants (the size cup she has now has already been deemed very dangerous for her health by specialists who have not treated her but have enough experience to have an informed opinion), Montag is not letting legislation getting in the way of her achieving her dreams. Consequently, she’s decided to fly to Europe to have more work done on her chest, a source says for the mag. What’s even worse, Heidi’s own husband, Spencer, can confirm that the report is accurate.
“Heidi Montag plans to risk her life again with another surgery, Life & Style can exclusively reveal. Heidi’s husband Spencer Pratt tells Life & Style she wants to increase the size of her breast implants from 700 cc’s to 800 cc’s. ‘She wants to do it within the next two months and film it for the new TV show she and Spencer have been pitching to cable networks E! and Oxygen,’ an insider says,” Life & Style writes.
“I try to stop her. She wants her doctor to come over once a week to plump up her lips. I keep telling her that they’re big enough and that she doesn’t need it,” Spencer Pratt explains for the same publication. According to him, it was an appearance on Ryan Seacrest that pushed Heidi over the edge, as she misunderstood a joke he made in front of her. “When Heidi entered the studio, Ryan told her that her breasts didn’t look that big to him. She was taken aback. She came home in shock,” Pratt says of his wife’s reaction to what could have only been a joke meant to loosen her up before going on air with the interview.
What Spencer doesn’t know – or won’t say – is when Heidi plans to travel to Europe to have more surgery done or how she can afford to pay for so many interventions.
