Spencer Pratt became Heidi Montag’s manager about five years ago, when they weren’t husband and wife and she was just 19 years old. Following a more or less bumpy run together, “The Hills” star has decided to separate business from pleasure and fire Spencer as her manager. He has been replaced by a Malibu-based psychic, the reality star herself tells People magazine.

The move comes on the heels of Montag’s drastic makeover, which implied a staggering 10 surgical procedures in just one day, an album flop and her acting debut in a Funny Or Die video. Determined to turn her life around and start over by turning a new page – one that, hopefully, will not imply her singing, critics say – Heidi has decided she no longer needs to be managed by her husband, since a psychic would do a far better job.

“After the incredible experiences I have had healing my life and truly connecting to my dreams with healer intuitive Aiden Chase, I have officially asked him to become my manager. Having an intuitive psychic leading my team gives me an edge no one else has,” Montag reveals for People. The change in management comes with a change for the better in her outlook on life as well, with Heidi boasting she has successfully “cleared all the negative energy in [her] life.”

“No longer is my husband the face of my business or managing my career. I am going to have Aiden Chase help manage my new life and career in a very different and positive way with light and love. The time for change is now. Never mix business and pleasure. We are no longer Speidi but Spencer and Heidi. I am so excited for my future and the bright successes coming my way,” the blonde star adds.

For the time being, Heidi will be focusing on several projects, which include an appearance on The Tonight Show and a starring role in a feature film, a comedy. Of course, her collaboration with esteemed and award-winning director Ron Howard on the Funny Or Die skit also did wonders for her confidence in her acting skills, one might assume.
