Heidi Montag claims to have lost 26 pounds in 2 months by working out 14 hours a day

Proving again just how obsessed she is with her body, reality star Heidi Montag claims she’s been spending more time than regular people spend at work in the gym for the past two months. She says she was “overweight.”

As we also noted earlier today, Montag made an appearance at Wet Republic in Las Vegas, where she hosted a party with Crystal Harris, the Playboy model who was supposed to marry Hugh Hefner the same day she was hosting said party.

It was the first appearance from Montag in a really long while and, understandably, reporters asked her where she’s been that no one has seen her for so long, PopEater informs.

As it turns out, the reality star had taken a year off working out to let the scars from her many surgical interventions heal and, inevitably, she gained a lot of weight.

“I was actually a lot overweight. It was the most I’ve ever been because I’ve kind of been in hiding eating pie with my husband [Spencer Pratt] and puppies, so I needed to get back in shape,” the blonde star revealed at the party.

So, to get in shape, she switched on a diet of fruit and salads, and started going to the gym – about 14 hours a day, to be more exact.

“I’ve been working out from, like, 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. for two months now,” Montag says. She was motivated by the fact that she had to get into her best shape for the pool party.

“I’ve been working out really hard because I had this pool party and I was like, I have to be in shape. I’ve been running a lot, and I’ve been doing weights,” Heidi explains.

The results did not fail to show: in two months, Heidi dropped 26 or 27 pounds – and she believes she’s now the right weight to look perfect in her tiny two-piece swimsuit.
