After infamously getting a complete makeover with plastic surgery to boost her profile in the media and being intensely criticized for it, Heidi Montag’s personal life has slowly slipped into chaos. She and husband Spencer Pratt have separated and will probably be getting a divorce, while interest in her has dwindled. Confronted with problems on all fronts, Montag has just dropped out of a new project for a reality show because, for once, real life is too hard,
OMG Yahoo! informs.
Though there are many who truly worship the former “Hills” star, she also has a reputation for being one of the very few truly fame- and attention-hungry celebrities out there. As such, hearing that she dropped out of a new project comes as quite a shock. In fact, even her friend Jen Bunney, with whom she was supposed to do the new show, was surprised by her decision, though she can understand she (Heidi) has too much on her plate right now to have time to throw herself into her work.
“Since that recent development our original network and some others as well have offered to continue on with the show despite Heidi possibly not being involved, which I just recently agreed to. Although, I of course wanted to pursue this project with her, I also respect that she has a lot to deal with right now and have to decided to go ahead and move forward with it alone, since these opportunities have presented themselves (my hope is that she will want to be involved later on),” Bunney says, as cited by the aforementioned e-zine.
The show will still happen, though without Heidi. “So I have already been to a few really productive meetings in the past few weeks, and the show is moving forward, looking to air this January. I was actually surprised that this happened, considering my name is not one that has been plastered across every tabloid the past few years, but I am super excited. I suppose the buzz from the original show with Heidi garnered enough interest and publicity and enough about me as an individual that several networks are interested in still pursuing it despite Heidi’s absence. So that’s the news for now!” Bunney goes on to say.
On the other hand, it could be that Heidi is working on something new, something she believes will make her more money than the aforementioned reality show. Just recently, the reality star took to her
Twitter to say she’s been working very hard and feeling wonderful about it. She also says she wrote no less than 13 songs in a single day, so this could mean she’s thinking of coming out with
a new music album.
