Heidi Montag Calls the Cops on Her Own Mother

Last time Heidi Montag spoke to her mother was shortly after she got massive plastic surgery for a complete makeover, when they got into a fight over looking like a plastic Barbie. The other day, Montag and her husband Spencer Pratt called the police after Heidi’s mother, Darlene Egelhoff, came to their house and refused to leave, People magazine informs.

Though she was literally showered with negative comments on her surgically altered looks, it would seem that Heidi took her mother’s words to heart and has refused to speak to her ever since. Because she chose to speak her mind on her daughter’s new face while the cameras were rolling, Darlene broke Heidi’s heart and she is not to seek forgiveness for it, “The Hills” star says in a statement to People, confirming that she did, indeed, call the police on her own mom.

“My mom showed up unannounced to my house when she knows I have no interest in seeing or talking with her. She tore my heart out on national television. She is just trying to create drama in my life,” Montag says of why she alerted authorities to come and remove her mother from the premises. Moreover, Heidi is so set against her mother that she plans on seeking a restraining order against her as well because she simply doesn’t want her in her life anymore – and no amount of talking on Egelhoff’s behalf will convince her otherwise.

“Los Angeles police confirm that Egelhoff came to her daughter’s house on Thursday and was turned away. ‘Officers arrived on the scene and advised the mother that since her daughter’s an adult, she doesn’t have to speak to [the mom] if she doesn’t want to,’ Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. Leffew tells PEOPLE. ‘The mother said “fine, no problem” and left. There were no citations or arrests.’ And Montag says this isn’t the end of all the drama. ‘I made it very clear that I want nothing to do with her in my life right now,’ she tells People,” writes the mag.

This comes on the heels of a story now running in many weeklies, according to which Montag is being held prisoner by her husband in their own house. Spencer Pratt doesn’t allow her to go out without him or without notifying him first, and has taken all the necessary steps to prevent her family from contacting her, it is being said.
