14 DAY TRIAL // Model Heidi Klum throws one of the biggest Halloween parties in Hollywood and, for this special occasion, she really puts a lot of time, effort, and money into her costume. This year was no different, as she had herself transformed into an old lady.
Attached to this article are just two photos of the many Heidi posted on her Twitter, documenting her transition from young woman to an old lady. She was literally unrecognizable.
Heidi worked with an Oscar-winning team of makeup artists, who used special prosthetics to “age” her before her time. You can’t tell from the first photo, showing her in her car on the way to the party, but she had her entire body covered in makeup.
The makeup artists aged her legs and her hands, and added prosthetics that made it look as if she had a slight hunch and protruding bones in her shoulders. The overall result was uncanny, as these photos over at the Daily Mail can attest.
As usual, Heidi documented her incredible transformation on Twitter, sharing with her fans behind the scene looks at the lengthy process. “Thanks to Andy Clement and #creativeCharacterEngineering for my amazing prosthetics,” she wrote at some point.
Once at the party, Heidi acted the part as well. She got out of her vintage car and, accessorized with pearls and a cane, she posed awkwardly on the red carpet, making sure she hunched a bit and appeared outraged at what some of the “young people” wore for the event, especially the young women.
At one point, she even seemed to be threatening one photographer with her cane, like old people in bad comedies and cartoons are prone to do. Your guess is as good as anyone else’s as to what might have set her off.
Until her divorce from Seal, Heidi and Seal used to do couples Halloween costumes, but it’s safe to say now that she’s still pretty amazing at it on her own.
