With over 40 years of experience in lighting equipment, German manufacturer Hedler announced recently the availability of a new HMI light with daylight quality, the DX25.

The new Hedler DX25 HMI is capable of generating a continuous light output power equal to a 1,100-Watt tungsten halogen bulb with a power consumption of only 250 Watt. The unit is balanced to deliver a color temperature of approximately 5,600K, which makes it ideal for usage as a fill light in outdoor photo sessions.

One of the interesting features that comes packed with the Hedler DX25 HMI is the built-in electronic ballast that enables a more compact design and is rated to last around 60,000 operating hours, while the unit is rated at 1,000 operating hours.

The Hedler DX25 HMI will be showcased at The Photography Show in Birmingham, the UK, next month and will be available for purchase soon at a price of £759 / €925 / $1,270.
