Soon to be ex-Lady McCartney has somewhat recovered from the surgery on her amputated leg and has already sent her army of lawyers to press conferences where they announced that the former model (38) intends to take legal action against the newspaper 'News of the World'.
Earlier this week, after the scandal of the 'Joys of Love' book that emerged from the '80s, from Germany, the said newspaper published an article in which it claimed that, in her younger years, Heather used to be a high-maintenance prostitute who hooked up with arms dealers and Arabic princes on a regular basis. It even mentioned that, on one occasion, she received a sum of more than $11,000 to have sex.
The information was not simply based on speculations, but it came from informed sources, such as Adnan Khashoggi's (one of Heather's supposed lovers, an international arms dealer) secretary, that is quoted to have said: 'she has repeatedly lied. She was a hooker. I know. I paid her'. The spokesperson from the paper declared that they are 200% confident in their sources.
On the other hand, Heather's lawyers told the press that she denies all allegations, as they are surely based on invented stories and paid sources. She claims that the newspaper has been trying to sully her reputation for years now, and only by threatening legal action has she managed to keep it at bay. Furthermore, she demands to be respected and be offered the benefit of doubt. Her ex-husband, Paul McCartney, shares the same view and asks for decency in the handling of the matter.
