14 DAY TRIAL // Television icon Heather Locklear has just turned 50 years old and, while she looks as fabulous and gorgeous as ever, she might change something about her career, if reports online are to be believed.
She and fiancé / longtime lover Jack Wagner, who also starred with her on “Melrose Place” and even played her lover at one point, may do a reality show documenting their life at home, word has it.
Granted , this would go very much against everything Heather has been doing these years – i.e. trying to keep a very low profile in the media – but her fans are already over the moon at the possibility.
“Limelife reports that the couple briefly considered starring in a reality show about their relationship and their life together,” zap2it writes.
The idea for the reality show seems to have come from Jack, who wanted to capitalize on the frenzy generated by news of their engagement, which confirmed that they remain, even though “Melrose” is far away, hot topics with fans.
“Word is that Wagner explored the idea of a family show that would include his two sons with ex-wife Kristina Malandro (of ‘General Hospital’ fame) and Locklear’s daughter from her marriage to Richie Sambora, Ava,” the e-zine adds.
Admittedly, Heather is somewhat against the idea, saying that she’s a serious actress and would see doing a reality show as a step down from that, unnamed sources say.
Nevertheless, the idea is not off the table completely just yet.
“She considers herself a serious actress, and the thought of letting lights and cameras into her home in the morning before she puts on her makeup really fills her with dread,” an insider is quoted as saying.
Just recently, Heather grabbed headlines again as she emerged to promote a made-for-TV film she starred in – and she seemed to have had some plastic surgery to her face, appearing at least 10 years younger than she did on a previous public outing.
She did not address talk of a surgical makeover, as we also reported at the time.
