Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams's baby is a girl

Hollywood couple Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams announced yesterday that their unborn child will be a baby girl.

Williams, 25, best known as Jen Lindley in Dawson's Creek, declared that she's expected to give birth to a baby girl in the next few weeks.
She made the statement at last month's Toronto Film Festival, while promoting her and her boyfriend's latest movie Brokeback Mountain, directed by Ang Lee.

The actress also revealed that she's very fond of this movie because she met Ledger while filming it and also conceived her daughter during this period.

She said: "It's strange to watch the film now because it means so much more to me.
I met my husband there, the seed of my daughter was born there - it's just really, really powerful."

Williams confessed she doesn't want to hurry with the wedding, despite the fact she's already calling Heath her husband.

She adds: "I had a few fantasies about a husband and a wedding when I was a little girl. But I'm really happy with things just the way they are right now."
