Lindsay Lohan's secret diary emerges, confirms she was dating Heath Ledger at the time of his death

In November 2009, word first got out that Heath Ledger and Lindsay Lohan were dating at the time he died of an overdose of prescription pills. Now, a diary page obtained by Radar Online seems to confirm that said report was very accurate.

In their constant war of words that they choose to have played out in the press, Michael and Dina Lohan, Lindsay's parents, were actually the ones that made the above revelation.

Radar is now confirming the report, saying it got hold of pages from the star's diary, in which she writes about Heath's death and how he was “the love of [her] life.”

“Today Heath died,” Lindsay wrote on January 22, 2008, when the actor was found dead in his home, after an accidental OD on prescription pills.

“I’m in love with him…. He was the love of my life. He taught me so much, and he was everything I’ve ever wanted and more,” Lindsay added in pink pen.

“I want to hear him laugh and hold me. I crave his touch and care,” she further wrote in the same entry.

Radar says the diary pages also reveal that Lindsay and Heath were so close that she had made plans to visit him in New York. The visit was supposed to take place just days after he died.

“When a person dies the world stops. I’m numb,” Lohan said of the tragedy.

As also noted above, a little over two years ago, Michael Lohan began releasing recordings of private conversations between himself and estranged wife Dina.

On one of them, Dina said Lindsay was in very bad shape after Heath's death because she'd lost a lover and a good friend.

She also said that her daughter was abusing medication and alcohol again, and that she was basically a broken spirit for having to deal with such a terrible loss.

At the time, few actually believed the two were an item, mostly because they seemed to have little in common. Now that Lindsay's diary has emerged, it would seem there was some truth to the report.
