U.S. Airways flight is delayed because the plane is stuck on the ground

Just recently, the people who were supposed to embark on a U.S. Airways flight found that their journey must wait, as the plane got stuck in the tarmac on the runway.

Apparently, the heat waves that hit America these past few weeks eventually melted the ground at the Reagan National Airport, making it impossible for one of the planes to take off.

It took almost three hours to budge the aircraft from where it sunk in the tarmac, but the passengers eventually made it to their destinations.

We believe that this is proof enough that global warming might end up impacting on our lives in ways none of us can foresee, and that something must soon be done to somewhat control these extreme weather manifestations.
