Blizzard has confirmed that it's released a brand new patch for Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, the online trading card game that's currently in closed beta, fixing the Arena issues encountered by players but also the Freeze mechanic.

Hearthstone caused some debate when it was first revealed by Blizzard as an online trading card game, but ever since the closed beta went live, a lot of players have begun enjoying the free-to-play experience.

Now, a new patch for that closed beta has just gone live, according to the studio, in order to finally solve the problems encountered by players when trying to start a new Arena run.

What's more, certain cards using the Freeze mechanic, like Cone of Cold, Blizzard, or Frost Nova, have seen their mana costs increased by one point, in order to keep things fair and balanced.

Blizzard is expected to get Hearthstone into open beta soon enough.
