InTouch claims Justin Theroux walked out on Jennifer Anniston right before New Year's Eve. According to the weekly, Aniston was hoping he'd propose to her over the Christmas holiday and, when he didn't, she couldn't help but throw it in his face,
HollywoodLife informs.
Aniston imagined he'd use the winter break to come up with the most romantic proposal ever.
She actually thought he would ask her hand in marriage by presenting her with the best Christmas present possible: an engagement ring, the tab says.
When Christmas came – and went – and Justin still hadn't proposed, Jennifer confronted him.
“She was all set to say 'yes.' She was stunned. She started fighting with Justin, and the fight lasted for days,” an unnamed insider, claiming to have first-hand information, tells the tab.
What's worse, the report goes, was that Justin chose to end the fight by walking away from it: he simply slammed the door and walked out on Jennifer.
“Justin was so disgusted with the way Jen reacted that he hopped on his motorcycle and went to stay a friends apartment in NYC’s Lower East Side,” HollywoodLife writes.
The source stresses that, even though he came back, Justin feels pressured by Jennifer to invest more into the relationship than he's willing to.
“He need space. Jen feels she’s putting so much into the relationship and Justin should commit to her, but she should be careful about putting him under too much pressure,” the insider explains.
“A source close to Justin says that the actor is starting to resent Jen for trying to mold him into the man she always wanted – by getting him new clothes, facials, haircuts, and trips all over the world,” HL writes.
Jennifer, it would seem, is bent of landing herself a husband, having grown discontent with having a boyfriend.
