Those who always complain that the movie industry hasn't come up with anything original in a long time have reason to rejoice: the first trailer for “Headshot” is bound to get them excited.

Coming from Thai director Pen-Ek Ratanaruang , “Headshot” just got a brand new trailer, complete with English subtitles, and is already getting movie insiders talking about a potential hit at the box office.

It tells the story of a former cop who gets mixed up with the wrong people and is eventually shot in the head.

When he wakes up, he finds that he sees everything upside down, which presents itself as a wonderful opportunity for director Ratanaruang to actually take the viewer by the hand and introduce him into this dizziness-inducing world.

As the trailer also says, one might forget one's past, but the past never forgets. Soon, the cop will be haunted from people in the past, people he should have probably never crossed paths with.

“Headshot” comes out this year. *Please note that some discretion is recommended when watching the trailer above.
