14 DAY TRIAL // Hayden Panettiere doesn’t have a date yet for the wedding to boxer turned politician Wladimir Klitschko but she already knows that, whenever they set one, she will be as ready as she’s ever going to be.
The latest issue of Brides magazine comes with a spread with the “Heroes” star trying out a variety of wedding gowns, some more traditional than others. To People magazine, the pint-sized star admits that she’s not even chosen her dress.
However, she’s in no rush because she’s convinced that, one of these days, the right dress will simply come along.
“I have a very specific body type, and you have to dress for your body type. As flattering as wedding dresses tend to be they can also go sour really quick,” she says.
“It was nice to see the different cuts on my body. And you just look at the cumulative likes and loves and hopefully that will lead to ‘the dress,’” the actress adds, speaking of the shoot for the bridal publication.
Right now, Hayden knows just one thing for certain, namely that she won’t be experimenting with her hair shortly before the wedding, as many women tend to do. After a handful of negative experiences with her hair, she’s ok with leaving everything up to her stylist and, more importantly, with sticking to her usual hairstyle.
Plus, having the best stylist that money can buy also means she can go either long or short, depending on her mood, thanks to quality extensions or a complicated updo.
“I have always dreamed of a wedding day! Not over the top or crazy, but yeah, I’ve always thought about it. It’s one of those things you have to just cross your fingers and hope everything will go smooth. You will plan and plan and at the end of day you just have to kick back and see what happens,” Hayden adds.
She and Wlad got engaged early last year, shortly after rekindling their romance after a break because of their hectic schedules. When they split, the two issued a joint press statement to explain that the reason they opted to end their 2-year romance had more to do with their spending so much time apart than anything else.
They were reunited months later and, within weeks of this getting out in the press, she was sporting a diamond sparkler on her left hand.
