Has Steve Ballmer Really Changed?

If you're a tech-savvy user or a Microsoft fanboy, you definitely remember the times when Steve Ballmer starred in several TV commercials trying to sell Windows or other company products.

Some laughed, others criticized him for being a bit... err... crazy, but Steve Ballmer has always surprised us. He did manage to keep Microsoft the software giant we all know and promises to do so many years from now on.

Last weekend however, Ballmer had an unusual interview with The Seattle Times. “Why unusual?” you may ask. He no longer seems the frenetic chief executive we used to know and, what's more, he refused to talk too much about competition. When asked about Google, he only said that “Google is just another big company at this stage. I'm not saying they're bad.”

No laugh, no mean comments, no victory dance. Just a diplomatic attitude that's a bit surprising. So, has Steve Ballmer really changed?

He's * right! Google is just another big company. In fact, as far as I'm concerned, it has sunk to the level MS once used to be. Meanwhile, MS has pulled itself together and become what Google used to be in the beginning. I used to be a Google fan but now I hate them for their arrogance and stupidity just as much as I used to hate MS for the same things.
