Harry Potter's fan invited by J.K Rowling at her residence

The creator of a website dedicated to Harry Potter was recently invited by J.K. Rowling to her residence for one-hour interview, as she launches the sixth book in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

The authoress of Harry Potter woke up the young fan at 9 a.m. with a phone call: "Hello, Emerson? This is Jo... You believe me, don't you?".

"At first, I thought it was extremely odd," Emerson said. "I thought, 'Why would she want to talk to me?"' But Rowling was familiar with Spartz's website, www.mugglenet.com, which she called one of her favourites.

Emerson Spartz, 18, from LaPorte, 50 kilometres west of South Bend, will attend the University of Notre Dame to study business management. He is helped by more then 40 volunteers maintain the site, which in November 2002 had about 70 000 to 80 000 hits a day when the film version of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets arrived in theaters, wrote News 24.
