Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for the DS follows the story of the fifth Harry Potter book, and depicts the adventures of the young magician during his fifth year at the Hogwarts academy of magic. The game will have Potter build Dumbledore's Army and go head to head with the root of all evil, Voldemort himself.
Inside the castle of Hogwarts, but outside of it as well, players will get to explore the surroundings, while learning the spell of the appropriate level for a student of Harry's age and talent. Not only that, but gamers will also have a chance to play as Sirius Black and even as Dumbledore. The title's environment has a very well simulated, 3D, pre-rendered background, similar to those seen in the first Resident Evil titles.
The gameplay is centered around several mini-games controlled with the stylus on the touch-screen. It was published by Electronic Arts, Inc. and developed by Visual Impact. It was released on June 25, 2007 and it is a third-person action game. The title was also released on the Game Boy Advance.
