Harry Potter, The Number One Fantasy, Goes Gold

The young wizard has been voted the nation's top fantasy hero

Harry Potter has topped a poll of thousands of viewers on the Sci-Fi Channel. .
The young wizard has beaten characters like the cyborg in 'Terminator 2' and made it to the top spot.

'Star Wars' character Darth Vader is the best movie villain, followed by the monsters from the 'Alien' films, according to femalefirst.co.uk

"It's great that a home-grown icon has been voted greatest hero", a spokesman said.
Daniel Radcliffe, who has already starred in four film adaptations of JK Rowling's books, has recently said: "I'm not absolutely confident that I'm doing them all I'm definitely doing the fifth. But after that, who knows?"
The 16-year-old admitted he is thinking of other projects.

Meanwhile, EA and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire videogame has gone gold and is scheduled for release on November 8, 2005, for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, Xbox video game system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, and Windows PC. In the following weeks, the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire videogame will make its debut on the PSP handheld entertainment system.

Releasing in conjunction with the Warner Bros. Pictures film based on J.K. Rowling's fourth book, the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire videogame offers the chance to experience all the thrilling moments of the movie and master magic in cooperative play with up to two of your friends.

In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry is mysteriously selected as the fourth competitor in the dangerous Triwizard Tournament and must confront a fire-breathing dragon, rescue friends from the icy depths of the Black Lake and navigate the twisting mysteries of a vast, enchanted maze.

For the first time in the videogame series, the magical world of Harry Potter comes to life with in-game characters that look like their big-screen counterparts.
