Jamie Waylett, famous as the bullying Hogwarts School pupil Vincent Crabbe in the “Harry Potter” films, has just been arrested, News.com reports. Police were tipped off as to the 19-year-old star’s activities and were shocked to discover that he had eight bags of cannabis in his car and, later on, that he had a genuine cannabis farm in his bedroom. Waylett is currently held on charges of possession and producing a class B drug.

“Officers allegedly found eight bags of cannabis inside the vehicle. Waylett and a fellow occupant of the car were reportedly held at the scene before police raided the Camden home he shares with his mother and three siblings. A hydroponic farm containing ten cannabis plants, with an estimated value of £2,000 ($4,151) was allegedly found beside the actor’s DJ decks and a PlayStation.” News.com informs, citing a report that ran in the British tabloid The Sun.

Moreover, it is being said, the police are now concerned that producing the class B drug is not the only preoccupation that the 19-year-old star has been indulging in over the past months. A source from inside the force has told the aforementioned publication that chances are very high that Waylett also dealt the drug, which would mean he could get a bigger jail sentence if found guilty on the charge.

“It was a pretty significant find. We are concerned the drugs in the car were all bagged up and ready to go. Work now needs to be done to establish how far down the line we are towards dealing.” the unnamed source explains for the publication. As of now, though, no official press statement has yet been released regarding the arrest, but it is believed that the young star is still in custody and will presumably be released on bail set pretty high.

This is not the first time that Waylett, a close friend of main “Harry Potter” stars Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe, is faced with allegations about drug use. According to News.com, back in 2006, the actor successfully dodged cocaine abuse accusations. For more details on his recent arrest, keep an eye on this space.
