Harry Potter learns that a dangerous man, Sirius Black, has escaped from the Wizarding prison, Azkaban, and is supposedly after Harry. With his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, Harry masters the spells necessary to confront Black. However, Black is not all he seems: he was convicted of the murder of thirteen people nearly thirteen years ago, but the real murderer, Peter Pettigrew, is hiding in the disguise of Ron's pet rat, Scabbers.

God mode:
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "defuser.ini" file in the "ea gamesharry potter and the prisoner of azkabansystem" folder. Find the "Comma=" entry near the bottom of the file. Add the word "God" so that it now reads "Comma=God". Start the game and press [Comma] and your life will not decrease. You must press that key every time you enter a new challenge or activity.

Ghost mode
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "defuser.ini"

file in the "ea gamesharry potter and the prisoner of azkabansystem" folder. Find a key that you want to use to turn on Ghost mode, such as "Backspace=". Then, add "Ghost" after the key and the equal sign, so it appears as "Backspace=Ghost". You must also select an alternate key and type "Walk" after the equals sign. Press the key that was assigned during game play to turn on Ghost mode. You can walk through walls and fly. You must press the key assigned to "Walk" to fall to the ground.

Better Patronus spell
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "spell" file in the "ea gamesharry potter and the prisoner of azkaban(tm)system" folder. Look for the "[HGame.PatronumSpell]" heading. Change the "bAccumulates=false" line to "bAccumulates=true". By doing this, you can cast Patronus the spell while going up like a cocoon.

Level select
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "default" file in the "ea gamesharry potter and the prisoner of azkaban(tm)system" folder. Look for the "[HGame.HPPageFrontend]" heading. Find the "FirstLevel=HP3_Adv1Express.unr" entry and change the value of the .unr file to any of those located in the "maps" folder.
