Harry Potter fans can now watch something similar to their favorite movie, but in the shape of a short film made by filmmaker Wren Weichman. Wren decided to continue the story of the famous wizards in a YouTube short film called “The OMEn Chronicles.”

The action takes place in the world of Harry Potter, and every fan who read the books or saw the movies can recognize the familiar elements, the wands or the famous spells. Even if the characters are not the same and the accent is obviously American, the short film still resembles the original movies.

The short film is based on an 18-page script and was shot in two days with almost zero budget, as the filmmaker states at the end of the video. Wren also says he is looking forward to people seeing and sharing his short film so that he could turn it into a bigger thing.

I don't know if he is planning on transforming it into a series of Harry Potter cheap remakes but I'm kind of curious as to what happens next because this first part ended somewhat abruptly.
