The moment everybody has been waiting for ever since the second part of the 'Harry Potter' series was released will finally be seen by an entire world in the summer of 2008: Harry's first kiss on screen. The scene will take place in the fifth installment of the movie, 'Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix', based on the popular book and it has Daniel Radcliffe (Harry) and Katie Leung (Cho Chang) as protagonists. After the movie studio released a still showing the two teenagers smooching, a genuine media frenzy was instantly created. In fact, it was even said that Daniel took full advantage of the situation offered to him and asked the crew to shoot more than 30 takes on the same scene. 'It was reported that we did a huge amount of takes, but actually you do that number on any scene. Once you have covered it from all the camera angles, you've done about 30 takes. But because it's the kiss, it was sort of made out that I had requested to do well over 30 takes', Radcliffe is quoted as saying in 'The Daily Mail'. But the young actor does not deny that kissing his co-star was a real pleasure for him, as neither does the relatively unknown actress. 'Daniel is a good kisser. I really enjoyed it. He's energetic and makes you feel relaxed. He talks all the time and tells you not to be nervous. It's great working with him', Katie said, only to be interrupted by Daniel, who also felt the need to praise her kissing (and acting) skills: 'My God, it was fun. Me and Katie - we were awkward and nervous at first but once we got it, it was fine. It would have been more nerve wracking if I was doing it with someone I didn't like'. The producer David Yates is also very happy about the kiss scene, maybe even happier than the two actors who took part in it. He hopes that, even if the movie doesn't do as well at the box-office as the other 'Harry Potter' films, people will come to see the kissing scene. 'We did many, many, many takes and it's very tender and loving, as the first kiss should be. I guess if there's one thing that people will be coming to see the film for, it will be the kiss'. 'Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix' will hit theaters in July 2008.
