Headline of the week: Lindsay was dumped by the Pink Taco owner and boyfriend for a couple of months, Harry Morton. While rumor that their relationship wasn't quite all sunshine and roses in the past couple of days abounded, yesterday 'People' Magazine confirmed it.

Sources close to the hunky boyfriend told the magazine that he broke up to her not because of her partying all night long, but because she has some issues she needs to deal with, hinting at the alleged addiction of the actress to illegal substances.

'She was too much drama. Lindsay did cut down on the partying, but with her it's all relative. Harry is sober. It wasn't the partying that broke them up. Harry's more low-key and not into the same stuff she's into', one of Harry's friends told the reporters.

Apparently, Morton broke the news to Lindsay when she was expecting it less, after a romantic dinner at Chateau Marmont. 'Nothing happened at dinner, but shortly afterwards, he broke up with her', one of the owners of the establishment said. Witnesses saw the 20-year-old actress run to the balcony, hand full of tissues and cell-phone in the other, weeping uncontrollably. She was telling her friends what had just happened, apparently not believing it herself.

However, Lohan's camp say that thing weren't as clear-cut as they say. 'No one "dumped" anyone. You don't dump people when you're 20 and 25. You have a mature relationship, and you take a break and you see what happens. Everyone does that', one of them said.

Dumped or on a break, it's just a technicality, many say. The bottom line is that the two are no longer together. Lindsay started dating Harry on July 2nd and - shortly after that - they became almost inseparable. Morton was there with her when she fainted on the set of 'Georgia Rule' (because of over-exhaustion and dehydration), when she had her handbag stolen at Heathrow airport in London and when she broke her wrist and had to be admitted into a hospital.

At one point, even rumors of an engagement and of a secret wedding ceremony were heard. We'll keep you posted.
