Actors Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart have just proven skeptics wrong by tying the knot in a super-private ceremony in New Mexico, TMZ has learned and confirmed via various channels.
Speculation on the plans the two had together ironically started to circulate shortly after they became more serious and would constantly make public appearances as an item, even as some predicted they wouldn’t last. In 2009, word got out that they had gotten engaged, though that was never officially confirmed. The two are known for being very secretive about their personal life, which makes it so that they rarely talk about it even when they have a new project to promote, thus actually going against Hollywood norm.
Now, Harrison and Calista are husband and wife, TMZ says, having tied the knot while he was on location working on a new film. Further details are not available right now but more is bound to emerge in the following days. Sadly, there will probably be no photo of the actual ceremony, unless the couple releases one themselves, buzz online has it. Similarly, the two stars are expected to make a statement regarding their wedding anytime soon.

We got the tip from Lisa Stanley at K-Earth 101 in LA and just confirmed it ourselves. We’re told the couple was married in the Governor’s mansion in Santa Fe. Their marriage license was filed today in the County Clerk’s Office,” the paparazzi agency and celebrity gossip website writes.
“Harrison and Calista have been together for almost 8 years, and got engaged over Valentine’s weekend in 2009. Harrison is filming ‘Cowboys and Aliens’ in New Mexico right now,” the same media outlet goes on to say.
