The worrying news from the set of the latest “Star Wars” film that Harrison Ford had broken his leg in an accident hit fans like a ton of bricks. Many feared that this would put the 71-year-old actor out of commission for a long while, something which would have delayed the production.

Today, we find out that this is not the case, and that the aging actor, who also starred in the first movie, is making a speedy recovery. His personal trainer, Jake Steinfeld, told TMZ that “he's getting in shape now. He's feeling great and he's rehabbing it.”

The personal trainer also explains his involvement with the action star, “He and I have been friends for a long time, over 30 years, and he is in great shape. He is going to get back even better than he was, and I've been monitoring it with him. He's feeling great and is in great spirits.”

Speaking about the leg injury that was caused by a hydraulic door falling on the actor during shooting of a scene at the Pinewood Studios in London, the trainer said that it was “not that bad,” and then he joked that Harrison was “70 going on 27.”

“Star Wars: Episode VII” is scheduled to be released in theaters across the world on December 15, 2015.
