While movie buffs continue the debate on who should direct the 2015 “Star Wars” Disney film and, just as importantly, on who should star in it, there’s one person who’s already game to be involved: Harrison Ford.

Entertainment Weekly says it has it from a very, very reliable source that Ford would say yes in the blink of an eye to an offer from Disney to reprise his role as Han Solo, no matter the conditions that would come with said offer.

“Harrison Ford is open to the idea of bringing Han Solo back to life on the silver screen in 2015, according to sources close to the just-announced Star Wars sequel, but don’t be surprised if his contract includes a mandatory death scene for the sly old space smuggler,” EW writes.

At this point, Ford is so eager to be part of “Star Wars” again that he’d literally agree to anything.

“Harrison is open to the idea of doing the movie and he’s upbeat about it, all three of them are,” the insider is quoted as saying. The other two are Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher, who starred with him in the 1977 installment.

EW notes that this would be the first time Ford willingly takes part in anything even remotely related to “Star Wars,” with one exception (when he made an appearance for charity).

In other words, if what the insider is saying is true, Harrison must be really itching to reconnect with the “Star Wars” universe.
