It looks like Harrison Ford is all about reprising roles from his youth these days. After Indiana Jones and Han Solo, the actor is now in talks to slip back into the character of Rick Deckard, the Replicant hunter that was the star of the movie “Blade Runner.”

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Alcon Entertainment, the company behind the sequel, is taking the steps to reach out to Harrison Ford who has previously expressed interest to play in the movie if it was going to be made.

But Ford and Scott, who also directed the original, won't be the only men returning to the franchise. Hampton Fancher, who worked on adapting the 1982 movie from the Philip K. Dick novel “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” is also billed to return to work on the script along with Michael Green.

“We believe that Hampton Fancher and Michael Green have crafted with Ridley Scott an extraordinary sequel to one of the greatest films of all time. We would be honored, and we are hopeful, that Harrison will be part of our project,” read a statement from Alcon.

It is believed that this move to announce a certain role going to a certain famous actor is a way of generating hype and enthusiasm from fans which the studio hopes will convince said actor to sign on the dotted line in the end.
