News from Indonesia says that, about a week ago, an orca saw fit to give a group of local whalers from the island of Lembata a taste of their own medicine.

Thus, shortly after these whalers had managed to drive several harpoons into the animal's flesh, the orca decided to fight back and show its killers that it too could play this game.

Long story short, the whale turned their boat topsy-turvy, and even dragged it below the sea's surface.

Needless to say, the people aboard all fell into the water. According to Tree Hugger, just four of them managed to make it back home to their families on the day of the incident.

The other eight, on the other hand, ended up stranded on a neighboring island. They were rescued a couple of days after their boat had sunk.

It goes without saying that, at least for a while, the men involved in this incident will probably want to settle for whale watching rather than whale hunting.

No information concerning what happened to the orca that attacked these whalers has thus far been shared with the public.
