Hard Reset, the colorful sci-fi first-person shooter from Polish studio Flying Wild Hog is getting ready for its release this September, so the studio has now published the minimum and recommended PC system requirements that need to be met if players want to experience the game.

We talked about Hard Reset back in July, after its development studio, composed of veterans from other Polish companies like CD Projekt Red, People Can Fly or City Interactive, confirmed that the impressive shooter would arrive in just a couple of months exclusively for the PC.

Now, after another period of silence, the studio has returned into the spotlight, this time with the minimum and recommended PC system requirements for players who want to experience Hard Reset next month.

Minimum: OS: Windows XP/Vista/7 Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Pentium 4 / AMD Athlon 64 RAM: 2 GB Graphics card: 512 MB NVIDIA GeForce 8800GS / ATI Radeon HD 3870 or better Sound Card: DirectX Compatible DirectX: DirectX 9.0c Hard Drive: 4 GB free hard drive space

Recommended: OS: Windows XP/Vista/7 Processor: Intel Quad Core 2.3 GHz / AMD Phenom II x4 2.5 GHz RAM: 3 GB Graphics card: 512 MB NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT / ATI Radeon HD 4870 or better Sound Card: DirectX Compatible DirectX: DirectX 9.0c Hard Drive: 4 GB free hard drive space While those requirements are a bit on the steep side, Hard Reset promises to take full advantage of the power of current-generation PCs, through its proprietary Road Hog engine, by depicting a rich, detailed and pretty colorful sci-fi world, in which the main character, Major Fletcher, goes through a series of adventures.

"The PC-exclusive title transports players to a haunting, dystopian future, with humanity on the verge of extinction, confined to its last standing city and under constant threat from the robotic hordes that aim to annihilate mankind. In the only remaining human city of Bezoar, Major Fletcher, an Army Combat Veteran and soldier of the CLN, is dragged into a conflict between two of mankind’s greatest enemies. He is to discover that nothing is what it seems to be," the studio said in its official annoucement.

Hard Reset is out on September 13 exclusively for the PC, and will be priced at just $29.99 or 28 Euros, with an extra 10% discount on Valve's Steam service.
