Tomorrow will witness the release of two new games in the ever growing Xbox Live Arcade library. Happy Tree Friends False Alarm is coming to the Microsoft maintained download service for the Xbox 360 and the title is joined by Ticket to Ride, a conversion based on a popular board game.

Happy Tree Friends False Alarm allows you to play as the always confused but eager to help Lumpy, a blue moose which has the daunting task to save his animated friends from a variety of dangers. All the regular Happy Tree Friends characters from the animated series are featured in the game adaptation; be warned that the trademark gratuitous violence is also pretty well represented in the game adaptation.

There are ten scenarios which can be tackled, each one featuring a different danger zone and characters to be saved. We're happy to announce that a way you can save one of your friends is by deep freezing it using something that resembles a giant extinguisher.

Ticket to Ride does not have the notoriety of Happy Tree Friends but it sure has almost endless replayability. The videogame now on offer on the Xbox Live Arcade is built to mimic the experience of playing a 2004 board game called Zug um Zug. Players, and there can be four of them joining locally and five if you play on the Internet, will need to use capital to plan routes that will connect cities dotted around the area. Points are collected when someone claims a portion of track and completes tickets. At its core, the game is very simple, but it can offer the perfect fun for a party at home, around the Xbox 360.

The games will each be sold on the Xbox Live Marketplace for 800 Microsoft Points (around ten dollars).
