“Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters 3D” from Paramount Pictures will probably make a very small splash when it drops in theaters in January, but I’m still going to see it. Above is a new poster for it, just in case you also feel the same.
The film was initially supposed to come out this year, but
was pushed back to next year, to what is referred as the box office graveyard, the month of January.
It stars Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton as the two brothers who, after their encounter with the witch in the well-known fairytale, turn witch hunters.
Practically, the movie picks up many years after the fairytale, and sees the two brothers face the biggest and baddest witch ever, played by Famke Janssen.
Above is the brand new poster, meant to remind you, if you had forgotten already, that the movie will be in 3D. It’s
not mindblowing artwork or anything even remotely close to that, but it somehow surprises the amazing chemistry between the two.
