The mother of kidnapped teen Hannah Anderson has suffered a gruesome death, enduring torture before being hit in the head with a blunt object.

The Inquisitr relayed the results of an autopsy showing that Anderson was tied up and her mouth was sealed with plastic tape.

Attacker James Lee DiMaggio broke her right arm and both her legs and cut her neck. She had 12 hits to her head, which forensic reports attribute the cause of death to.

Her dog was fatally shot beside her and her house was set on fire, presumably after her death. Her son, Ethan, was still alive in another part of the home and probably died as a result of the flames.

Anderson has been found alive and uninjured, as she was being taken by DiMaggio to a wooded area in Utah.
