14 DAY TRIAL // The Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett cheating scandal refuses to go away, at least not any time soon. The two reality stars seem bent on staying in the headlines, as now Hank has taken the first step in reclaiming his wife after he allegedly cheated on her with a transgender model.
Insiders reveal that Hank is now ready to “save” his marriage by renewing his vows with Kendra. He hopes this will give him a “fresh start,” but more likely, he hopes that she will be able to forgive him and forget his transgressions.
Kendra is not as keen on the idea of staying married to Hank
As far as Kendra is concerned, not even she knows what's going to happen next, but that's because, she's keen to keeping this scandal alive as much as possible, since she has benefited from it in terms of ratings for her reality show, “Kendra on Top.”
Speaking with Hollywoodlife, an insider confided that “Hank will do whatever he can to save his marriage to Kendra and one way of showing his commitment is by renewing his wedding vows.”
The love rat allegedly has everything planned out and he's going for the whole nine yards. He wants a whole new ceremony, standing in a church, in front of a priest. Now, if only Kendra would agree to it.
The former Playboy model has previously said that she isn't going to divorce Hank, but now it seems like she doesn't want to fight for her marriage anymore either. Friends have said Kendra is forced to believe her husband's story but she's also afraid that a new cheating scandal is going to emerge.
Hank wants a big ceremony at the start of 2015, a new beginning
Hank doesn't care though and he's pushing for a renewal of the wedding vows, “ideally it would be a holiday wedding or a New Year’s Eve ceremony…a way to start 2015 with a fresh beginning,” says the insider.
Kendra has previously said that she's inclined to believe Hank, but she's also done some digging around, to see where Baskett could have come up with the money to spend time with transgender model Ava London. Finally, she relented to his version, as she couldn't find any incriminating evidence. But she doesn't sound 100% convinced.
Anyway, for Hank it's a massive step forward from the crying and the tossing of the wedding ring in the toilet incident. At least, that's what Kendra said on her reality show, because many people, including her own mother and brother, think she's faking it for the sake of ratings.
