If Kendra Wilkinson was determined not to divorce Hank Baskett because she felt that there wasn't enough proof to indicate that her husband cheated on her, there is now a new piece of the puzzle which might convince her to end her marriage.

In a controversial move, Radar has released audio recordings of what they claim is a phone conversation between Hank Baskett and the transgender model Ava London, with whom he had an affair behind Kendra's back, while she was pregnant with their child.

Kendra previously said that there was no proof of the cheating

Earlier this week, Kendra is quoted as saying, “They claim that there's proof out there that my husband cheated on me. But there is really no proof.” It seems that today those words are coming back to haunt her, as the audio recording is pretty damning evidence.

Of course, there was significant proof even before the recordings, since Ava went to the magazines, did interviews, gave details, and even took a polygraph test. But Kendra simply shut everything out and claimed that she would be “dumb” to divorce Hank Baskett at that point.

The recording features a man begging London not to take her story to the tabloids

In the recording, a man that answers to the name of “Hank” and who also sounds like Kendra's husband can be heard begging Ava not to take their story to the press, “I just wanted to confirm that you hadn’t said anything. They just said two weeks before Kendra was pregnant that I hooked up … I hate to say it ‘cause I would never say this word, but they said I hooked up with a tranny.”

London dismissed the rumors by claiming, “I didn't say nothing (sic).” This seems to be good news to the feverish Hank who replies, “Thank you so much, thank you. You’re making me feel so much better right now because you said you didn’t say anything.”

Later, it turned out that London did talk to the tabloids and they all swooped in to publish the story, turning it into a great scandal. Kendra decided that, in the end, she was going to have faith in her husband and believe his version of the story, instead of London's.

The audio recordings are suspiciously leaked just as the scandal was dying down

The big question is why leak these recordings now, when the scandal had just about died down, why not leak them at the beginning, when it would have really helped London's version of the tale? It seems very fishy to keep the recordings a secret for so long, when everyone was keen on seeing proof and some of the tabloids were willing to pay good money for them.

When you think about the fact that many people, including people from Kendra's own family, have blasted this scandal as being fake, and nothing more than a mad dash for ratings for her reality series, it begins to make sense that someone would manufacture these recordings as a means of keeping the scandal alive just that little bit longer.
