Hangout with Brazilian Singer Marisa Monte on Google+

Google+ has been growing steadily. It has several tens of millions of users, the latest official figures are about 45 million. That's all well and good for Google, finally it has a successful social network.

But it's faced with a problem in Brazil where it already has a successful social network, Orkut.

Google has said that it plans to run both products in the country. But it's also promoting Google+ there, especially since the social network seems to be rather popular there, Brazil is the six biggest country on the site.

One way it's trying to expand Google+'s reach is via the very first organized Hangout, featuring Brazilian singer Marisa Monte.

She'll be entertaining her fans on November 22 at 20:00 local time. So, if you're a fan, this is a rather unique opportunity to chat with the singer.
