HandyGames, the German-based developer that recently announced it would be one of Sony Ericsson's official mobile content providers, has unveiled the upcoming availability of several new games set to put our handsets on fire (fortunately, not literally).

One of the future games that seem to be really nice is called "World of Dice". Presented as a "real innovation", World of Dice will come with controls especially designed for handsets that have motion sensing capabilities.

"AD 1066" and "Romans and Barbarians" are also on track for this year. The first game is set during the Norman conquest of England at the beginning of the 11th century, while the second will (obviously) take players even farther back in time, when Romans were having lots of trouble with the barbarian tribes outside their empire.

Two upcoming titles that there is little info about are "The Great Bible Game" and "Little Firefighter", which are scheduled to be release sometime in late autumn. A "4 In A Wheel" new casual game should be released at about the same time, too.

Talking about the future releases, Markus Kassulke, Chief Exucutive Officer at HandyGames, said, "By the end of 2008 we will have succeeded in publishing 24 products in one year term, with a team of just 35 employees. This is an effort and performance that is unique in the industry".

"Our product portfolio contains a fair 50/50-mix between hardcore and casual games," continued Mr. Kassulke. "In the current year we published with games like Aces of the Luftwaffe or Panzer Tactics 2 several hardcore games, but by the end of 2008 HandyGames will have released the same amount of casual games that are covering all topics."

All in all, the new titles promised by HandyGames will surely raise the interest of mobile gamers, so let's wait and see whether this interest will still be alive after the games are out.
