It will be initially launched in China in April, followed shortly by a global rollout

The ZTE Grand Memo II LTE should be an affordable phablet with LTE support. The smartphone has recently been unveiled at MWC 2014 and will go on sale in China in April.

No word on price tag yet, by ZTE has confirmed that the device will be launched in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific soon after it goes live in China.

As the name suggests, the Grand Memo II LTE comes with 4G LTE support. It also boasts a large 6-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

Hardware-wise, the smartphone is equipped with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and 2GB of RAM. There's also an enhanced 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.

Other highlights of the ZTE Grand Memo II LTE include: 16GB of internal memory, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and non-removable 3200 mAh battery.
