ASUS may have already showed off several tablets, but it seems its portfolio was comprised of more than just those, as the company also revealed a certain EeePad Memo, a small but feature-packed slate running the most recent version of Android.

Those that have been keeping tabs of what occurred during the 2011 edition of the Mobile World Congress expo will know of the many tablets showcased there.

A large part of them used NVIDIA's Tegra 2 hardware platform and, on the software side, the Android 3.0 OS, otherwise known as Honeycomb.

ASUS itself created such things as the Slider (which our colleagues got their hands on) and hopes to sell about 2 million slates in total this year (2011).

Now, it has been brought to our attention that the same company has a little other slate on show, one dubbed EeePad Memo.

One of our colleagues was able to land a few shots of this particular creature as well, along with its overall specs.

Apparently, it is smaller than most others, featuring a display diagonal of 7 inches, and also lacks the Tegra 2 platform, utilizing a Qualcomm 8260 processor instead, whose frequency is of 1.2 GHz.

512 MB of SDRAM are present, while the available capacity of eMMC internal Flash storage can be of 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB and even 64 GB.

That 64 GB is the upper limit is nothing to be frowned upon, especially knowing the smaller than usual screen size.

Needless to say, the full list of wireless connectivity options are present, this including 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+ EDR and USB 2.0.

Other specifications include a Micro-USB port, G-sensor, e-compass, two webcams (1.2 megapixel front and a 5 megapixel one at the back), a 3.5mm audio jack, a microSD card slot (supports SDHC) and micro HDMI.

Full HD (1,080p) video should be playable at 30 fps and the battery is supposed to last for up to 8 hours. Unfortunately, no pricing or availability details were given.
