Emdigo, a provider of mobile media content and technology, announced that it has entered into an agreement with mobile publisher Hands-On Mobile to launch an exclusive new category of mobile lifestyle products utilizing fully interactive 3D graphics.

The first product to launch under the agreement will be ActionScreens 3D, a collectible content experience that enables mobile consumers to customize their phones with interactive 3D
graphics content. The content consists of fully animated 3D characters with idle and action animations, character profiles and 2D/3D backgrounds. Users can choose from a growing selection of interactive collections that includes cartoon characters, pop stars, pets, superheroes, athletes and more.

"We are very excited to be working closely with Hands-On Mobile to bring a truly new content experience to mobile consumers around the globe," says Steve Gleitsmann, President of Emdigo. "A lot of media attention is currently on mobile music and TV, but the capabilities of the latest wave of mobile phones are also enabling a much more sophisticated and eye catching type of graphics content that is perfect for casual entertainment and phone personalization".

ActionScreens is compatible with more than 30 phone models including the Motorola RAZR V3c and V3m, Motorola KRZR, LG Chocolate, LGVX9800, and Samsung a950 Series. The ActionScreens run-time software utilizes OpenGL ES, the industry standard Application Programming Interface for enabling 3D graphics on mobile devices.
