Video game developer Ninja Theory has confirmed that it is using animations created individually by members of the development team for each of the combat moves that main character Dante can perform in the upcoming DmC: Devil May Cry.

This comes after the team has also announced that motion capture is used to power the cutscenes in the game, which has prompted some concern from the player base.

Tameem Antoniades, who is the leader of Ninja Theory, has also talked about how his own team is working with publisher Capcom, saying that the two companies are collaborating on all the core aspects of the experience.

He also expanded on how he plans to make Devil May Cry more accessible to first-time players by explaining the combo system clearly and giving newcomers plenty of opportunities to practice with it before the game turns up the difficulty.

Devil May Cry will be launched on the PlayStation 3 and on the Xbox 360.
