Oil magnate (and the 35th richest person in America) Harold Hamm didn’t have a fortune in the billions of dollars when he married Sue Anne 25 years ago. Now that he allegedly cheated on her and she wants a divorce, she could get half his money.

If so, this will become the most expensive divorce of all times, ABC News points out in a new video report, which you will also find embedded at the end of this blog post.

If Sue Anne can prove Harold’s infidelity, considering that she helped him build his business empire, she could walk away from the marriage the richest woman in America.

Hamm’s estate is estimated at over $11 billion (€8.43 billion), with analysts estimating that Sue Anne could possibly get anywhere upwards of $3 billion (€2.3 billion) in the divorce.

“This is clearly going to be watched on Main Street as well as Wall Street, and internationally,” Su Keenan of Bloomberg says for ABC News.
