Hamachi has received a brand new update today, so in case you’re already running the app, make sure you have a look at the latest version as soon as possible.

Basically, Hamachi 2.2.0.100 is mostly aimed at fixing bugs, which means that a performance improvement is supposed to be experienced after deploying the update.

According to the official release notes, the new build fixes an issue on Windows XP causing the engine configuration directory path to be set incorrectly. What’s more, LMIGuardian now installs properly on 64-bit devices, so the whole experience should be improved a little bit regardless of the Windows version you are using.

Of course, the app continues to be available for all Windows users, so go ahead and download Hamachi 2.2.0.100 if you’re looking for a quick and effective way of creating a secure virtual network.
