Haguichi, a graphical frontend for Hamachi on Linux that integrates smoothly into the GNOME desktop, is now at version 1.0.24.

Haguichi features fully customizable commands, notification bubbles, meaningful tooltips, collapsible networklist, and more. It's been quite a while since the previous update, a little over two months. The developer took advantage of this long hiatus and made some important changes.

This is not the big update that everyone has been waiting for, but at least there are a few things that will definitely catch your eye. For example, support has been added for systemd and upstart to control the Hamachi service, the network list is now immediately updated after going online or offline in a network, and the update interval count is now reset after each manual update.

Also, the panel icon animation when connecting has been fixed and should be displayed properly, the Hamachi version number retrieval has been improved, the support for beesu has been dropped in an effort to gain super user privileges, the Swedish translation has been updated, and a number of smaller fixes and optimizations have been implemented.

Check out a complete list of changes and updates in the official announcement. Download Haguichi 1.0.24 right now from Softpedia.
